Aronia, also called black chokeberry, has dark fruits, almost black in color, with a specific sour taste. Aronia contains beta carotene and a variety of beneficial flavonoids, anthocyanins, polyphenols. Among the vitamins and minerals, you can find calcium, magnesium, sodium, potassium, iron, zinc and manganese, as well as vitamins E, C and B9. Dried berries can be consumed directly or used to flavor hot and cold dishes, teas, desserts, muesli or yogurts.
Dosage:
1 to 2 tablespoons daily.
