Safety warning: WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS: Keep out of reach of children. When you first use Corsodyl® 0.1% mouthwash, you may experience a change in taste, a tingling or burning sensation. These sensations usually disappear with continued use. However, if these sensations persist, consult a doctor. In rare cases, a rash, swelling of the lips, tongue, throat, face or difficulty breathing have been reported, which may be a sign of a severe allergic reaction. Do not use if you have ever had an allergic reaction to chlorhexidine digluconate or any of the other ingredients of the product. If you develop a rash, swelling of the lips, tongue, throat or face or difficulty breathing after using Corsodyl® 0.1% mouthwash, stop using the mouthwash and seek medical advice immediately. If you experience pain or irritation in your mouth, stop using Corsodyl® 0.1% mouthwash and tell your dentist. Temporary stains may appear on your teeth or tongue. These stains are not permanent and will easily disappear if you limit your consumption of foods and drinks that can cause stains, such as tea, coffee, or red wine. Stains can be prevented by brushing your teeth thoroughly, but in some cases, treatment by a dentist is necessary.
