The history of this premium coffee began in 1894, when Turin businessman Luigi Lavazza bought a small colonial in the old part of the city. It wasn't long before Luigi began roasting his own coffee in an ordinary grocery store.
It introduced a completely unique and completely new taste, in which beans of different types and origins are mixed. From Brazil, Colombia, through Guatemala, Costa Rica, Honduras, Uganda, Indonesia, Vietnam and Mexico. Lavazza imports coffee beans from all over the world, emphasizing sustainable agriculture and controlling both the quality of the coffee and the environment and working conditions of the local communities.
