Return & Refund Policy

At LAVONIO, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not happy with your order, you have the right to return it in accordance with UK consumer law.

1. Your right to cancel (14-day cooling-off period)

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving any reason.

To exercise this right, you must inform us of your decision to cancel by a clear statement, such as an email to info@lavonio.co.uk.

You then have a further 14 days to return the goods to us.

Conditions for returns

  • Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in a resaleable condition.
  • You are responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us.
  • We recommend using a tracked delivery service, as we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit.
  • You are liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning.

Exceptions – items that cannot be returned

Under UK law, certain items are exempt from the right to cancel:

  • Sealed goods that have been opened or unsealed after delivery, where return is not possible for health protection or hygiene reasons (e.g., cosmetics, skincare, personal care products),
  • Goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly,
  • Goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised.

2. Faulty or misdescribed goods

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have additional rights if your goods are faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose:

Within 30 days of delivery

You are entitled to a full refund for faulty or misdescribed goods.

Within 6 months of delivery

We will offer a repair or replacement. If this is not possible or unsuccessful, you are entitled to a full or partial refund.

After 6 months (up to 6 years)

You may still be entitled to a repair, replacement, or partial refund, but you will need to prove the fault was present at the time of delivery.

For faulty goods, we will cover the cost of return postage. Please contact us before returning any faulty items.

3. How to return an item

Step 1: Contact us

Email us at info@lavonio.co.uk with:

  • Your order number,
  • The item(s) you wish to return,
  • The reason for return (optional for change of mind, required for faulty goods).

We will confirm your return request and provide any additional instructions if needed.

Step 2: Pack and send

Pack the item(s) securely in the original packaging if possible. Include a note with your order number and name.

Step 3: Await your refund

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will process your refund within 14 days.

4. Refunds

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.
  • For change-of-mind returns, we will refund the price of the goods. The original delivery charge will only be refunded if you are returning the entire order.
  • For faulty goods, we will refund the full price including original delivery costs.
  • Please allow 10–15 business days for the refund to appear in your account after processing.

5. Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different product, please return your item for a refund and place a new order.

6. Damaged or missing items

If your order arrives damaged or with missing items, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@lavonio.co.uk. Please include:

  • Your order number,
  • Photos of the damaged item(s) and packaging,
  • Description of the issue.

We will resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

7. Late or missing refunds

If you have not received your refund within the expected timeframe:

  • Check your bank account or card statement again,
  • Contact your bank or card provider, as processing times may vary,
  • If you have done this and still have not received your refund, please contact us at info@lavonio.co.uk.
