| Preparation and usage: | Instructions for use: Unscrew the white cap and pour the prepared lure into the trap, e.g. syrup, sweet drink or beer. Then screw the cap back on and hang the trap prepared in this way by a string or place it in a place that you want to protect from insects. The color of the trap and the smell of the bait attract insects that fly into the trap. The special design of the container prevents insects from climbing out of the trap. The trap can also be used to protect fruit trees and vines. It is not suitable for use indoors or for catching mosquitoes. Instructions for preparing simple fillings: Wasps, flies and hornets: 150 ml of beer, 12 tablespoons of sugar (or honey) and 100 ml of water, or 1 tablespoon of sugar (or honey) and 50 ml of red wine vinegar. Octomilky and fruit flies: 125 ml of apple cider vinegar, 50 ml of red wine, 12 tablespoons of sugar or 100 ml of beer. Baits prepared in this way are not harmful to pollinators (bees, bumblebees). To increase effectiveness, we change the bait every 15-20 days, depending on the temperature and the degree of infestation. |
