I. Basic Provisions

  1. These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter the "Terms") are issued in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Hereinafter referred to as the "Seller".

  1. These Terms govern the mutual rights and obligations between the Seller and the customer (hereinafter the "Buyer") in connection with purchases made through the online shop accessible at www.lavonio.co.uk (hereinafter the "Online Shop").
  2. The Buyer can be:
    • A consumer (natural person not acting within their business activities),
    • An entrepreneur (a natural or legal person purchasing for business purposes).

Unless otherwise stated, all rights and obligations apply equally to both.

  1. By placing an order, the Buyer confirms that they have read and accepted these Terms.

II. Information About Goods and Prices

  1. Information about products, including descriptions, prices, and main characteristics, is available in the Online Shop.
  2. All prices are displayed in GBP (£), inclusive of VAT (where applicable) and all associated fees. Delivery charges are calculated separately and shown before completing the order.
  3. Prices remain valid for as long as they are displayed in the Online Shop. The Seller reserves the right to correct obvious errors (e.g., misprints or software errors).
  4. Product images are for illustrative purposes only. Actual packaging or appearance may vary.
  5. Promotional discounts cannot be combined unless otherwise stated. If a discount is advertised, the Online Shop will also display the lowest prior price from the last 30 days in accordance with the Pricing Practices Guide.

III. Orders and Contract Formation

  1. The Buyer places an order via:
    • Their registered customer account, or
    • Completing the order form without registration.
  2. By submitting the order, the Buyer agrees to pay the total price and confirms that all information provided is accurate.
  3. The contract is concluded at the moment the Seller sends an order confirmation email to the Buyer.
  4. If the Seller cannot fulfil any part of the order, the Buyer will be contacted with an alternative proposal. The contract is concluded only after the Buyer confirms acceptance of such an alternative.
  5. All orders are binding. The Buyer may cancel an order only until confirmation of dispatch has been sent by the Seller.
  6. In case of a manifest technical error (e.g., displaying a product at £0.01), the Seller is not obliged to fulfil the order.

IV. Customer Account

  1. Buyers may register a customer account. Login credentials must be kept confidential. The Seller is not responsible for misuse of accounts by third parties.
  2. The Seller reserves the right to suspend or cancel accounts in case of inactivity or misuse.

V. Payment and Delivery

Payment Methods

The Buyer may pay for goods in the following ways:

  • Online card payment (Visa, Mastercard) via Shoptet Pay,
  • Apple Pay or Google Pay

Delivery to the United Kingdom

    1. Goods are shipped from our UK fulfilment centre or directly from the Czech Republic.
    2. Delivery options and charges are listed on the Online Shop at checkout.
    3. Estimated delivery times:
      • United Kingdom: usually 3–7 working days.

Delays may occur due to carrier issues, strikes, or force majeure.

  1. If the Buyer does not accept delivery, the Seller may charge reasonable storage costs or claim reimbursement of return shipping.
  2. Ownership of goods passes to the Buyer upon full payment and delivery.

VI. Right of Withdrawal (Returns)

  1. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, Buyers (consumers) have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the goods without giving any reason.
  2. To withdraw, the Buyer must send a clear written statement (by email or letter) and return the goods to the Seller's UK return address:

  3. The Buyer bears the cost of return shipping.
  4. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of withdrawal, using the same payment method as the Buyer used, unless agreed otherwise. The Seller may withhold the refund until the goods are received or evidence of return is provided.
  5. Exceptions to the right of withdrawal:
    • Goods made to the Buyer's specifications,
    • Perishable or short-expiry products,
    • Sealed goods (e.g., cosmetics, hygiene products) once opened or unsealed for health protection or hygiene reasons,
    • Newspapers, magazines, and periodicals.

VII. Your Rights Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015

  1. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described.
  2. If goods are faulty or misdescribed, you may be entitled to:
    • A full refund within 30 days of delivery,
    • A repair or replacement within 6 months (if a refund is not required),
    • A partial refund or price reduction after 6 months if repair or replacement is not possible.
  3. These rights apply for up to 6 years from delivery (5 years in Scotland), though proving the fault was present at delivery becomes the Buyer's responsibility after 6 months.
  4. This summary does not affect your statutory rights.

VIII. Liability for Defects (Complaints)

  1. The Seller is liable for goods being free of defects upon delivery.
  2. The Buyer has the right to claim defects in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
  3. Complaints should be sent to: info@lavonio.co.uk. The Seller will confirm receipt and aim to resolve the claim within 14 days.
  4. For business Buyers, rights follow applicable provisions of English law.

IX. Communication

  1. All official communication will be conducted by email.
  2. Buyer must ensure the correctness of their contact details.

X. Dispute Resolution

  1. We aim to resolve any complaints or disputes directly. Please contact us first at info@lavonio.co.uk.
  2. If we cannot resolve your complaint, you may wish to use an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) provider. You can find a certified ADR provider at www.ctsi.org.uk (Chartered Trading Standards Institute).
  3. You may also seek advice from Citizens Advice (www.citizensadvice.org.uk).
  4. Governing law: These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

XI. Cookies

  1. We, as well as certain third parties that provide content, advertising or other functionalities on our Website and/or Services (as defined in our Terms & Conditions), may use various technologies to collect and store information when you visit our Website, and this may include cookies, beacons and other technologies.
  2. Cookies are small files stored on your device in order to help collect information about your activities. Cookies enable us to store your preferences and settings, remember your log-in, provide customised content and marketing communication, understand which part(s) of our Website and Services are the most popular and analyse Website operations. XII. Final Provisions

  1. All agreements are stored electronically but are not publicly accessible.
  2. The Seller may amend these Terms; the version in force at the time of order applies.
  3. Intellectual property: All content of the Online Shop (text, photos, trademarks, logos) is owned by the Seller. Any copying or use without prior consent is prohibited.
